The rumor of 'Anti-aging' demand to look younger
has
increased dramatically in recent years.

◇ Less burden than thread lifting, definite effect as Face
lifting
This is a surgery method from Anti-Aging Medical team’s
convinced new treatment,
'Elastic Band'.
There were only two main methods of
pulling up the droopy skin which were
'Thread lifting' which pulls up the skin
with a few threads under the skin,
and 'Facial Lifting', which pulls the entire
skin after peeling off the skin tissue.
Both procedures have advantages and disadvantages.
The
thread lifting was simple and less burdensome, but it did not last long.
Short
term for about 6 months, longest for only about 2 years
and the skin would
become saggy again.

When

It’s a surgery that only takes
advantages from the existing thread lifting and facial lifting.
It uses a
special material called ‘elastic band’ instead of the thread that loses tension
over time.
The elastic band is made of silicone in the middle,
and the embossing
polyester is attached on both sides of the silicon.
Unlike the existing thread,
it does not get soften in the body,

Since it was originally used as a medical material
for reconstructing joint
tendon surgery such as knee,

The elastic band lifting was first attempted in Korea
four years ago
by a the president Doctor, Dr. Barn, Jaesang,
and about 2000 patients
have been operated by him until recently.

number of plastic surgeons performing new elastic band surgery
has increased a
little over the past one to two years,

◇ Endoscopic procedure to fix forehead and eye wrinkles
simultaneously
If elastic band surgery is attempted mainly for cheek and
jaw lifting, eye and forehead wrinkles are each performed by Upper
Blepharoplasty and forehead lifting. The problem was that in the case of the Upper
Blepharoplasty, the distance between the eye and the eyebrow became narrower in
the process of cutting the sagging eye area, which caused fierce impression. On
the other hand, forehead lifting had a disadvantage which is high burden of
surgery.
To improve these advantages,
new techniques have been
introduced for the eye and forehead areas.
It’s a method of endoscopes and new
implants called ‘endotine’
are used to spread eye and forehead wrinkles at
once.
Instead of incise and desquamate the entire forehead as in existing
forehead lifting method,
they made small holes in three places
and they input an
endoscope to grab and pulls the skin tissue.
The skin tissue is fixed and
pulled up with a sort of hook material, called endotine.
This implant approved
by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA)
to fully absorbed into the body
after 9 to 12 months and fully maintain the tension
while pulling up the skin and
fix the soft tissues.
Chief Dr. Kim Harkyoung said, "I used to think that only
upper blepharoplasty
or eye ptosis correction that could correct the eye to
improve drooping eyes,
but when I perform forehead lift, it’s preferable since it
has fewer scars
and the result is more natural."
◇ Botox • Filler and upper blepharoplasty are also 'more exquisite'
Techniques are also evolving in the most commonly implemented
procedures
such as upper blepharoplasty and lower blepharoplasty, Botox and
filler.
