would have considered of getting a rhinoplasty.

Alarplasty narrows down the nose width to make it look slimmer and trendy. 
The method is effective for big or asymmetrical nostrils and wide or thick nose tip.
There are both incisional and non-incisional methods for alar reduction, 
and it is decided by desired nose shape and how long it lasts.

If a nose is excessively wide or when nostrils have to be corrected, 
incisional method is recommended. 
The incisional method in old days incised around the nose alar, 
and it was possible to leave some scars. 

However, it is changed to incise the inner side of nostrils for reduction nowadays 
which leaves almost no scars outside.

Non-incisional alar reduction tends to be more simple 
and has quick recovery advantage without scar compared to incisional method. 
This method is proper for students or workers with limited time. 

Non-incisional alar reduction pulls nose alar with thread through a micro-sized hole 
to create a slimmer and sharper nose shape. 
Revising is also simple and easy if the result is not satisfactory.

However, this non-incisional method will not be effective for a thick nose or 
the case of nostrils that are far apart due to its limited range that can be reduced 
without making an incision. 
It also may be inconvenient because it requires several regular treatments 
to maintain the shape improved through melting thread 
if it melts inside of body after a certain period of time.

Reducing the below nose alar through minimal incision and tying the nose alar together
through elastic thread will be effective for the case. 
Treatment using elastic thread lasts semi-permanent, 
and the elasticity of the thread is similar to ligaments of the human body 
which creates natural result while smiling or talking.

The height of nose, length, shape of tip, and the width of nasal bridge need 
to be considered for a rhinoplasty. It is important to find an ideal nose shape suitable 
for individual features balancing together.

Nowadays alarplasty and tipplasty focusing on a specific area is getting popular 
rather than simple augmentation procedure. 

A surgical method customized to individual nose condition after thorough consultation
with doctor is necessary since excessive transformation may break the facial balance 
and nose function.

What is Epicanthoplasty?

It is not an operation that artificially tears a part of the eye;

instead it is a surgery that regains the length of the genetically-determined eye.

Everyone’s inner corner of eye has a red area at the spot

and it’s a beautifully balanced eye if this part seen about 50-80%.

However, there are some people who do not have this red colored area on their eyes

and those people are the one who definitely need Epicanthoplasty.

Would not it look weird to see the red part of the eye after the Epicanthoplasty surgery?

You wouldn’t see all of the red area when you do Epicanthoplasty,

but it only shows half. Aesthetically,

it is the most beautiful feature of Asian people if the red area is seen about half

or two- thirds. If all of the red area is seen, it gives strong look.

However, it gives dull image if you see none or less of it.

Isn’t the scar obviously seen if we get Epicanthoplasty?

There are two types of scar that could be seen depending on the surgical procedure.

One is the standard method where the scar is slightly left in front of the eye.

as when it was in its original position, so hair loss would not occur.

The reason for this is not clear yet, but it is said that the back and side hair

of the human body are different from the front hair or crown scalp

However, female hair loss is different. Most of the time, it is limited to the crown,

but in some cases there is a person who goes down to the back or side head as well.

At this time, you must be careful with hair loss on hair transplant as well.

Is hair transplantation effective?

The more closely transplanted, the higher the density gets,

and the smaller the transplant range becomes.

It is not advisable to increase the density too much in one part

to save the necessary hair for later.

If hair with normal thickness is more than 50% of original density,

hair loss is not easily distinguished.

Not exceeding 50 to 70 per square centimeter is recommended.

it can be planted at a higher density.

but rather to judge the effect of covering the scalp after it has been styled.

However, you may regret it later if the forehead is too narrow

as the area to be transplanted is widened and the density drops.

the surgery is recommended to kept as plan B.

How many hair follicles have to be transplanted?

When a new hairline is determined, the area to be transplanted comes up.

Based on this area, the number of hair to be transplanted is determined.

the transplantation density is calculated high

to be as close as possible to the normal density.

How many times can I have hair transplantation?

If the hair loss is stopped and the area is not wide,

single time operation would be enough.

However, if wide, the operation should be repeated several times.

Usually one year after the operation, the flexibility of the scalp part is recovered at some point.

It depends on the procedure and it is usually possible to do up to 3 times or more,

How much is the maximum possibility to do Liposuction?

Generally, we can extract 200-400cc in the calf and 500-1,500cc in the thigh.

We can extract fat to 1,000-4,000cc for lower abdomen and waist area.

It is recommended to avoid extracting more than 10% of your whole body weight

in a single procedure as it has high risk.

You can lose weight!

You may have additional weight loss when you do Liposuction.

However, it may be dangerous if you do Liposuction just to lose weight.

You can see about 1~1.5kg body weight loss by 1,000cc fat extraction.

Q. Is Incision Double Eyelid Surgery absolutely permanent?

A. No, it is true that the incision method is less likely to be untied than the non-incision one, but it does not mean that  the incision one would not loosened.

There are various treatment methods in the incision method.

Depending on the procedure, the results may vary

depending on the characteristics of the eyes.

So it doesn’t mean that it’s permanent even though it’s incision.

Q. Would double eyelid appear if I put double eyelid tape?

A. Less fatty and thin eyelids can make temporary double eyelids through the tape.

However, double eyelids are formed by the contact of the muscles

and eyelids that open the eyes,

so it couldn’t form double eyelids only through tape as it would be lost at some point.

Double eyelid tape can cause skin issues such as itching and exfoliation inflammation

by giving direct stimulation to the eyelids.

Also, if you use it for a long time, your skin elasticity will be lost

and your eyelids will become saggy which makes it even more difficult.

It is better to have control from excessive use

because it makes harder to make a beautiful double eyelid.

Q. Is it possible for children to have double eyelid surgery?

A. Double Eyelid Surgery may be performed on kids

for the purpose of functional issues of the eyelid.

However, it is recommended that Non-Incisional Double Eyelid method be performed

after full 12 years old at least,
