As women get older, one of the deepest concerns is
saggy skin under eyes.
This saggy symptom is called as ‘lower blepharoptosis’,
and the resolutive surgery is lower blepharoplasty.
Lower blepharoptosis (Lower lid ptosis)
When getting older, fat under eyes is more visible
lacrimal groove is indented or sagged.
It’s called blepharoptosis.
The standard surgical method is to incise right under
the eyelash line
and flatten under-eye area.
It also removes excessive skin
this gives another advantage to lower blepharoplasty.
If you’re the case of just a bit saggy skin without
getting rid of a little amount of excessive skin
would make lower
eyelids much more elastic.
The part underneath the eyelashes would be incised
some of the saggy skin would be resected.
If the muscle is developed a lot,
we may remove some
muscle for better result.
Pulling up the skin of lower eyelids and suturing it
would be the last step
after the removal of saggy tissue.
The important thing is to remove adequate amount of
because too much removal would make eyelid or eyelash to be turned over.
