Good moisturizing method for dry skin
Recently, when the weather is cool and dry, our skin would feel really dry and dull..
Even we have used face mist, our skin still really feel dry….
Skin’s dryness level is when we’re looking at our skin
and the lack of lipids pulls the moisture into the air so our skin becomes so dry.
It's called Xeroderma.
Xeroderma means the dry skin that moisture is almost gone
since the lipid inside the skin lacks.
When your skin’s dryness level is low, your skin becomes so sensitive and irritated.
It’s not only cause contact dermatitis but also wrinkles.
With Xeroderma, the skin will be sensitive and vulnerable
so it’s easy to be stimulated by dermatitis as well as wrinkles.
Skin dryness is mainly caused by external factors
such as cold weather, cold air, dry climate, dry weather, wind, etc.
What could we do to help the skin from dryness?
1. Avoid excessive shower, bath, sauna, etc.
and it would be enough for you to take a bath for 2~3 times in a week.
If you feel inconvenient with it, you have to change your towel
to prevent your skin from damage.
Scrubbing the body skin may cause the skin damage, so wouldn’t be recommended.
Moreover, instead of using hot water for bath, using lukewarm water is better for your skin.
2. Use a mild soap or cleansing product and rinse with water clearly for several times
after bathing to ensure that no soap is left on your skin.
3. Right after bathing or showering, don’t rub all your body directly,
but just tap it lightly and apply moisturizer or lotion to your body within 3 minutes.
4. To keep you warm in your room,
don’t overheat your room but just get your wet laundry hung in your room
or use humidifier at home so you could keep the room humid.
5. It is good to consume a lot of fruits and vegetables that contain vitamin A and E
and you also have to drink enough water.
You need to have enough sleep and rest.
Please also avoid wearing shredded clothes or wool materials
to prevent your skin from irritation!
