Q1.
How painful is the breast surgery?
You would feel no pain during the
surgery because of the general anesthesia which would make you feel no pain at
all during operating time.
You may wish to know whether you
would feel pain after the surgery.
It would depend on patients since
some are sensitive, and also the factor which causes pain is important as well.
There are a lot of nerves near the
soft tissue such as flesh and muscle, various kinds of pain could occur after
the surgery.
However, you would be recovered with
almost none of pain as 2-5 days are passed.

How does it go with anesthesia for
breast surgery?
Surgeries like breast augmentation and
breast reduction goes with local anesthesia.
Anesthesiologist would perform the anesthesia and
monitor the patients before, during, and after surgery. The monitoring system
would also check the oximeter, carbon dioxide concentration, body temperature, pulse,
breathing rate, and blood pressure.

Would the scar visible that others
could see it?
The scars after the breast reduction
is visible not like breast augmentation.
So liposuction would be a solution if
you got large breast, not to make scars.
If you have big breast, the result of
surgery will bring less scars.
Q4.
What’s the reason of scar formation?
If only breast tissue is removed, the
outer skin would be saggy and look crumpled.
That brings the need of excessive
skin removal, and the scar is formed during the suture step.
The degree of scar would be differed by the
surgical ways and you would choose the one with less scars.
Q5.
Do I need to be hospitalized?
In the case of not too big breast,
the operating time is short which means the short recovery time from
anesthesia. You don’t need to be hospitalized in this case.
However, if your breast is bigger
than the average, you’d stay in the hospital for a day.
The hospitalization would not be over
2 days.
Q6.
When could I be back to daily life?
Breast reduction surgery gives less
discomfort compared to other surgeries.
You would just leave the clinic or
stay for a day if in need.
You could be back to work after about
2-4 days,
and take shower after 3-5 days unless the scar is infected.
Q7.
Could it be performed with breast
ptosis correction?
Most of surgical ways would also
resolve the breast ptosis.
However, liposuction has difficulty
solving both, reduction and ptosis correction, at once.
