Types of nail abnormalities and other nail troubles



Have you ever gone to get your nails done and noticed cracked lines on them?
If your nails have chipped or have lines on them,
no matter how good the manicure is it will look not look as attractive as it can.

This post will explain why these types of nails can occur as well as
how to maintain nails and keep them beautiful.








* Weak nails that are brittle or break easily


Weak nails that break easily can be due to several factors. 
This can caused by reduced thyroid functions, lack of vitamins, proteins, or dryness. 
Women who get nail art done often have an increased chance of having broken fingernails, because too much nail polish remover use makes the nails become dry.
In addition, dry nails can also lead to increased aging in the fingernails.
That being said, if brittle nails are not due to nail remover use or old age,
then it could be due to reduced thyroid functions (or lack of vitamins)
and may require treatment.






*Indented spoon-shaped nails (koilonychia)


These types of nails could be an indicator of iron-deficiency anaemia.
This can commonly occur for those with anemia, diabetes, or problems of the thyroid.
If you ever experience indented fingernails
we recommend getting things checked up at a hospital. 







* Pitting or dents on the nails


If you have these type of nails there is a high chance it is due to anemia (iron-deficiency). The causes are similar to spoon-shaped finger nails,
if you suddenly notice dents on your nails then you should get treatment for them.






* Thick and overgrown fingernails


If you have these kind of nails then there is a good chance you 
have a fungal infection (such as athlete's foot).
In the case of fungal infection, fingernails can change color, become loose, or even fall off. A normal fingernail is usually 0.5mm thick,
and if your nails are thicker you should check to see if you have athlete's foot,
 or other types of fungal infections.



Making your nails pretty is important, but remember to keep your health in mind as well.
The state of your finger nails can be a signal that there is something wrong with the body.

Food that reduce stress


People get stressed a lot during their daily life.
We cannot see the stress with our eyes, but we can feel it ourselves.

People in these days get stressed a lot from various reasons such as
money, family, health and so on.
It is hard to avoid stress at all, but it is possible to relieve our stress!

If you cannot avoid stress, 
you have to relieve it as much as you can as stress could cause various diseases!!



Thus I will introduce some foods that reduce stress today!





1. Food that can reduce stress – Green vegetables


Green vegetables contain folic acid that can produce dopamine which can make us happy, thus there is less chance for people who consume folic acid to get depression.






2. Food that can reduce stress – Yogurt


There is a research proved that the brain activity of the part in charge of stress of people who consumed yogurt has decreased.
You can control your emotion better and yogurt is also good for our healthy as it is enriched with calcium and protein.






3. Food that can reduce stress – Salmon



When we get stressed, hormones like adrenalin and cortisol get secreted and Omega 3 component in salmon effects the opposite way which helps to reduce stress.
Salmon dish for one person contains more than 2000mg of Omega 3.







4. Food that can reduce stress – Blueberry



Blueberry is enriched with antioxidant and phytonutrients 
that help our body to react to the stress well.







5. Food that can reduce stress – Dark chocolate



Dark chocolate helps to reduce stress hormones like cortisol and the antioxidant from cocoa has calming effect on blood vessels that are tensed from stress.







6. Food that can reduce stress – Milk


Milk is the raw material of vitamin D can make us happier and people who consumed a lot of milk has less chance of getting depression.

‘Drinking water’ is a tiny habit that is most important for us. 
Most of people will be aware that our body is formed with more than 70% of water 
because we hear that often. 


That is the evidence that let us know how important water is for our body.


You are already aware that water helps on losing weight and waste excretion, right?

Today, I will introduce water drinking habit that helps on losing weight!





‘Let’s drink water to have flawless skin and slim body! 1. 
Water drinking habit’


It’s ideal for you to drink water frequently when 
‘you just woke up’, ‘you are hungry’, ‘before you get thirsty’, ‘is hot’.


It’s better to drink small amount of water frequently than drinking a lot of water at once
 to increase in water consumption.
Also, drinking water before meal is helpful on losing weight rather than 
drinking water right after your meal. 






‘Let’s drink water to have flawless skin and slim body! 2. 
The amount of water that we have to drink’

It’s good to drink at least 2L of water per day. If you are not sure how much would it be by 2L, 
drink at least 8 cups of water in a day~

Especially, drinking at least 2L of water is critical if you are on diet!

That is because the water is one of component that burns fat. 
Drinking a lot of water helps on burning more fats.

The calorie that you burn while 1L of water gets extracted as urine is whopping 50kcal. 

For the people who say ‘I gain weight even I only drink water’, 
they gain weight because they are not drinking enough amount of water.
When our body send message about low water level to our brain, 
there is high chance for the nucleus to steal that and make us think that we are hungry.

Thus thirst leads to food consumption and there is high chance of overeating or gluttony.

Healthy water’


Drinking heaps of water is also helpful on our skin health. 
Moisture is the key point to maintain smooth and elastic skin.

Our skin gets noticeable and dried even when we have slight water shortage.











Drinking heaps of water is good for health as the waste in our body gets secreted. 
Also it is helpful on losing weight and leads to healthy skin. 

Let’s keep our body healthy by drinking water before getting thirst, 
when we feel hungry and even when we are just bored!

How to make a birthday cake for your Pets!

 How to make a birthday cake for your Pets!



These days, there are lots of people keep pets such as cat, dog, and unusual pets. 
Among many animals, cats and dogs are most familiar to us.




We can’t get mad at them when they stare and look into my eyes 
with their lovely eyes even though they make a mess in our houses and destroy things. 




Also, we feed them and buy delicious snacks for them every day. 
However, especially, pet lovers would like to celebrate their loved ones’ birthday! 
Let’s celebrate their birthday with homemade cake for them!







(Please do not feed the pets such as the above image)

It doesn’t matter that you don’t have a talent for cooking! 
Definitely, they will love your food which you make for them.

If we use too many ingredients for preparing cake it will get complicated, 
so let’s use only three.






Sweet Pumpkins, Chicken Breasts, and Carrots!
It is easy to make cake.



Cooking Directions :

1.     Chop the chicken breasts into small pieces 
(You can use ground meat. Please leave one slice of meat for the decoration food)

2.     Steam the sweet pumpkin for about 15 minutes and mash the pumpkin.

3.     Chop up the carrot

4.     Fill the cake mold with ground chicken for about 1-1.5cm 
and add the massed pumpkins on top for about 1-1.5cm. 
Please repeat it for few times.

5.     Add the chopped carrots over the pumpkins 
and then put one slice of chicken breast on top of the cake for decorating.

6.     Bake in preheated oven

7.     Garnish with their favorite snacks


It’s really easy to make it! Isn’t it?






We use only three ingredients but sometimes cat and dog are allergic to food like human. Therefore, make sure you check carefully before making cakes for them!
