Q1.

Does hair loss get worse if I wash my hair often?

 

The answer is No.

Sebaceous glands are getting bigger as hair loss is being progressed

so that hair skin gets oily.

This could cause many dandruffs and seborrheic dermatitis.

It’s recommended to wash hair often to prevent those.

Finding out the best shampoo for you is suggested,

and regular use of shampoo

which is effective against dandruff would be great.

 

 

 

 

Q2.

Does smoking bring bad effects on hair loss?

Smoking quickens the hair loss if it’s already started.

It’s hard to quit smoking

but losing hair after smoking would also be very stressful.

That’s why we should try to figure out

what would be another way to stress out

except smoking.

You should quite habitual smoking.

Q3.

Are hats or wigs bad for hair loss?

No, they aren’t.

Hair loss could occur on the area where is much pressured,

but it’s a physical reason.

It’s said that hygienic condition is important.

Is Alopecia areata also in a need of surgery?

The reason of alopecia areata is an autoimmune abnormality,

which is different from an androgenic male pattern alopecia.

It recognizes your own tissue as external,

so it tries to get the hair out of the body.

 

It takes about 6 months to 1 year for natural healing,

however, there are some cases of continuous procedure.

Someone apply medicine or inject a shot on the area for a rapid recovery.

 

If you get symptoms for years and the part is on the area exposed a lot,

you could do the hair implants.

Is the hair loss hereditary?

Among various kinds of hair loss,

male pattern hair loss and female pattern hair loss are hereditary.

Hereditary hair loss could happen only after having hair loss genes.

That makes one of brothers has no hair loss at all

while the other one has typical hair loss.

Even with the genes of hair loss, the degree of loss is all different.

You could not recognize the hair loss at a glance,

or hair loss has clearly been started even before 20 years old.

Q6.

I am concerned about the side effects of epilatiorium(medicine for hair loss).

The earlier you take medicines, the more effective it is.

There are some cases who came to take medicine

after the enough progress of hair loss

concerning about the side effects.

Especially, women tend to avoid medicine because of future kids.

The medicine works on male hormones so they would be worried.

However, side effects might derive from psychological reason

and rarely appear.

If you stop taking medicine after side effects,

you would be normal in a few weeks,

and you could overcome side effects taking medicine steadily even after them.

It’s better to manage since the early stage of hair loss, n

ot missing the golden time for medicine taking!

Q1. For how long it would be uncomfortable?

It’s for 2 days that you would feel discomfort.

There is difference on individual after the anesthesia wears off, but some people take painkillers additionally.

The swelling on the face is also the heaviest on the second day.

So it’s recommended to take enough rest right after the surgery.

Much swelling or bruises because of weak body also would be gone after about a week.

The scar makes a little bit of discomfort when taking a shower or washing hair, but it will be better after about 3 days.

Sutured area also doesn’t give much discomfort unless it’s barely sutured because of the tension of tissue.

 

Q2. When can I continue exercise after hair implant surgery?

You should take a rest for a week not lifting heavy stuffs or exercising.

It’s suggested to do easy aerobic exercise after 1~2 weeks.

You can swim after 2^nd week, and long-term travel or extreme sports are recommended after 3~4 weeks.

Q3. How can I wash my hair after the surgery?

- You would visit the clinic two days after the surgery, and sterilize the areas.

You will shampoo your hair at the clinic for the first time, and learn how to do.

You can easily do after a few tries, and shampoo at home from the 3^rd day, and it will be comfortable if you wash in a stand position.

You can rub the hair except the implanted area.

 

Q4. I got acnes on implanted area.

- You would have folliculitis if you shampoo your hair too carefully, and you also can get it after 2~3 months when your hair grows again.

There is not many cases except these two times.

You can get rid of that clearly if that’s like an acne, but we recommend to visit hospital if there are many.

Q5. How can I deal with hair loss after hair implant?

- Most of implanted hair is lost usually before the 4^th week after the implant.

You don’t have to worry that follicles are remained, only hair is fallen out.

However, there is a case that original hair is lost together not only implanted one.

It really depends on individual that someone rarely lose while the other loses almost all.

If implanted among original hair on the area where hair loss is not fully progressed, original follicle is stressed so that hair is fallen out temporarily.

 

Q6. When can I see the new hair after the implant?

Implanted hair is almost lost before the 4^th week and grow again from 2~3 months after the surgery, till 6^th month.

Firstly grown hair is weak, thin, and maybe curled, but it becomes strong.

Hair grows about 1 centimeter per month, so you have to wait to see it in same length as original hair.

You have to wait about 9 months to feel the change on implanted area.

Q7. When could I visit hair salon after the surgery?

You can visit the hair shop after 2~3 weeks to cut your hair, and hair dying or curling can be done after 3~4 weeks.

Hair will be grown from follicle after few months, and you can do as you want.

 

Q8. Is scar on back of the head invisible?

After the excision of hair skin on the backside of the head, suture will be done finely if hair skins are pulled well. The scar will be remained as a thin line unless you had hard time to suture.

It means you don’t have to worry about it if your hair is long enough.

However, the scar will be revealed if you collected your hair skin on the top side and hair loss is progressed excessively at the backside, so you have to be careful when collecting the hair skin.

You also make a decision cautiously that there would be a big scar on surgery area if you are keloidal which makes scar awfully big.

Hello all!

I’m Joy!

I got surgery done at Banobagi for my nose and face fat grafting and would like to share my real diary~

Here is my before photo~ 

This is my last photo taken before the surgery.

And as I said, I got surgery done for my nose for hump reduction and tip plasty and also fat grafting for forehead and cheek area.

I was awake for one moment in between the operation and woke up after operation. I didn’t feel any pain though.

 On the day of the operation

You can’t really notice my swelling on the day after the operation, right?

But the next day, the swelling occurred on glabella and under eyes. ‘

It was itchy on splint taped area that I wanted to tear it off, but I had to be patient for higher nose tip~ ^0^

1 week after plastic surgery

I started to massage with ice pack and warm towel 3 days after the operation and taking a walk also helped on swelling subsidence.

The swelling has come down to cheek area, but even without the make-up, bruise seems fading away.

On profile, I love the roundy forehead with volume !

The splint on nose and stitch on side of the nose was removed!

I got the treatments for post-operation and also laser treatment called ‘calm laser therapy’ which made me feel lighter than before~

The splint was bit distracting and feel much better when it was removed !

Can you see the difference by comparison?

Nose bridge got so high!!

I am bit awkward about my new image now, but cannot put down the mirror off of my hand~~

2 weeks after plastic surgery

It’s already been 2 weeks~ I’m in better condition and lighter than before~

The swelling on glabella is subsiding and profile looks much natural than before.

My profile looks better with lights on, right? Haha

The time goes really fast!

It is good that I can now wash my face. But I do be careful to wash it gently.

3 weeks after plastic surgery

People around me say I look more positive than before which made me feel also positive^^

As I am more confident about my appearance, I take more selfies and look in the mirror. With any expression on my face, I just look good in the photos. Hehe

The top two are the before photos, and the bottom two are the after photos. The photos were taken at the same place which make more comparing to each other.. haha

Because of the nose job, I got more confident about my side view, 

and keep take profile selfies.^^

I put my hair down!!!

Sunshine make me feel GOOOD~~ !!

My image looks different with hair down, right?

I can feel that my face is settling down to its place day by day after surgery.

1 month after plastic surgery

 YAY!!! 

It's been1 month already!!

Whenever I think of the plastic surgery, I regret that I could’ve decided to get it sooner. Nose, which is in the middle of the face is straight enough to make my face balanced. 

I wore formally on the day of dinner with my office workers, and my selfie looks like identification photo, haha I should change my photo on identification card!!

Wasn’t that my nose before…????

I have no discomfort or irritation after surgery, but I get surprised whenever I touch my nose in unconsciousness.

8 weeks after plastic surgery

Can you see my difference?

I changed my hair style~ I perm my hair ^^

I was wearing braces for 2 years and took it off recently ^^

  

And,, I look so much better than before!!

I just love to look in the mirror~~

 With defined nose shape, fat grafting made me baby face~

Something was off before the surgery that made me look tire or sleepy, but I look so vital now^^

2 months after plastic surgery

Time flies~

I was busy with work these days, but I went for tracking to Namhansanseong Fortress~~~~~!

It felt really good to wash my feet on clear and cool water in the valley^^

And you cannot miss out the traditional meal in the valet, Chicken soup and Makgeoli! >_<

The fortress is not so far from Seoul I spent a good time healing off my stress with nature ^^

 As I found confidence after surgery, I became more positive person^^

Now days, I smile often much as in the photo, and I hope my smile will bring positive energy to people around me ^^
