Population of hair loss is 10 million nowadays. One in five Koreans is suffering from 

hair loss. According to the latest data from the Korea Health Insurance 

Review & Assessment Service, more than 1.03 millon people visited the hospital

 for hair loss treatment in 2012-2016. 

By age, young people in their 20s and 30s accounted for about 44% of the population 

in order of 30s (24%), 40s (22.4%), and 20s (20.4%). 

More and more people are experiencing hair loss and are becoming younger.

The relevant market of hair loss is also growing every year. The market size is expected 

to grow by more than 20% annually to 4 trillion won annually, including related products 

such as OTC(hair loss medicine), pharmacy hair loss treatment, hair loss shampoo, 

hair loss shampoo, and hair loss care.

Usually, the cause of hair loss is related to heredity, hormone effects, and lifestyle. Stress, drinking, and eating habits can cause hair loss as well. In addition, hair loss may also occur due to abnormal immune function or childbirth. For men, the hair grows thinner, 

leading to a lot of M-shaped hair loss. Females, on the other hand, retain their hairline but have thinned hair along the line from the forehead to the top of the head. Because women have more female hormone 'estrogen' than male hormone 'androgen', the hair loss, hair thinning  are rarely seen as a whole.

The most important thing before treating hair loss is to identify the cause.

Medical beauty group Banobagi won the lawsuit over mask pack trademark rights.

According to the industry on July 14, 63 of the Seoul Central District Court,

Civil agreement, Part 63 (Chief Prosecuting Attorney Park Wonkyu)

company A filed a claim that 'BANOBAGI' can't use the design

applied to the mask pack and pay 150 million won

and the claimed plaintiffs veridcted to lost.

BANOBAGI is a brand named after four specialists

who founded Banobagi Plastic Surgery in 2000.

Since 2015, BANOBAGI has introduced Derma Cosmetics products.

A company signed a trademark license agreement with Banobagi

and distributes the Banobagi mask pack.

After the 2017 contract has ended.

However, they manufactured and sold a mask pack

with a similar design in a package called 'BNBG'.

In the market, as the BANOBAGI and BNBG mask packs were distributed together,

it was recognized that the BANOBAGI mask pack was a pre-renewal product

or a similar product (aka fake).

The company filed a lawsuit with the intention that the Banobagi mask pack design

was developed by the company.

However, the court did not accept A's claim that

there were many similar designs already at the time of product launch

and that Banobagi participated in the design planning stage.

Banobagi's claim that the sales of the BANOBAGI brand's mask packs

depended on the brand reliability built up from the hospital

rather than the packaging design.

Meanwhile, Banobagi is expanding its influence to foreign countries

such as Thailand, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Russia & etc.

by introducing new products such as jelly masks in June of last year.

In Vietnam, the company recently launched three types of vitagenic jelly masks.

From January next year, the company will participate in a program

aired by the Vietnamese broadcaster VTV2 and introduce products.

Have you ever wanted to attend an exclusive influencer event? As someone who spends most of their time in front of a computer, working in an office, I never expected to get that experience. But, on July 6th, I unexpectedly got the chance to be an influencer for a day in Seoul! I attended the Banobagi Medical Group + Seoul Cosmetic Surgery (SCS) event, “Beauty, Bubbles, & High Tea” as a Be Mused Korea influencer. 

At this exclusive event hosted by SCS, I had afternoon high tea and champagne with some familiar faces from YouTube and Instagram. I also learned a lot about plastic surgery and dermatology services while living my best influencer life for a day.

Banobagi Medical Group Tour

The afternoon started with a tour of the Banobagi Plastic Surgery Clinic. Fortunately, the clinic has multilingual staff, so everyone could follow along with the tour. I was fascinated by how thorough the consultation processes are and how advanced the technology is. The influencers and I had several questions about common requests and the newest available procedures. And I also got to touch my first set of breast implants!

Banobagi recently rolled out a new hair transplant technology that relocates healthy hair follicles to areas with delicate, weaker hair. And hair doesn’t just look fuller after this procedure. It IS fuller thanks to individual strand grafting, which allows the hair to continue growing naturally in its new location. While I thought this would be a popular procedure for men, a lot of women get this as well to even out their hairlines and treat thinning.

Many people must have preparing for vacations as summer vacation season is about to come. When the full-scale heat started, the sales growth of some Department Store's swimsuit product line is increasing. It seems that more customers are looking to purchase the latest style of swimwear in preparation for a vacation soon.

The fashion trend that is proposed in the fashion industry is the 'retro style'.
